Welcome to Miss Harris's 5th Grade class! Here we will be learning everything from science to grammar, from math to art, and from history to foreign language! I'm very excited for this school year to start, and I hope you are as excited to learn as I am to teach you!
In addition to academics, we will be doing extracurricular activities like reading time, show and tell, and field trips! Some of my favorite field trips include the zoo, the aquarium, the history museum, and our end of the year field trip to the water park!

Makeup Assignments
If you have missed any assignments during an absence or early dismissal, they will be available to download here, but you will have to make sure you have permission to turn in missed assignments beforehand.
Upcoming Events
We will have a show and tell day on August 10, bring a small item that you would like to show the class and talk about.
We will take a field trip to the zoo on September 5, parents please make sure your child brings a signed permission slip BEFORE the day of the field trip.
We will be having a school-wide fundraiser to raise money for new playground equipment, if your child is interested in selling candy bars for the fundraiser, contact the school office to fill out a form. The class that raises the most money will have a pizza party!
